Winner Took All! The Chaska 14AA team won 1st place in the Rochester Tournament. It was a cold wet weekend but the team battled the elements and won all of its games. They beat Edina (9-7), Austin (10-0), Goodview (7-0), LaCrescent (5-2), and Mankato (9-7). The championship qualifies the team for the MSF and MBT state tournaments. Debatable. District 112 students attended annual District 112 debates held at the historic Church By The River in Carver. 267 5th graders participated this year. Each student gives one debate and critiques others. This is part of a course to learn the Lincoln-Douglas debate style. Schools included Jonathan Elementary, Clover Ridge Elementary, East Union, Chaska Elementary, Chanhassen Elementary, Bluff Creek Elementary, Victoria Elementary.
