To the Editor: Hi, Sue. What a wonderful article you wrote about Randy. I enjoyed everything about it, especially all of your precious pictures of him. I hold it dear to me. Can I get two more copies of the paper? I would like to give one to each of Randy's children, Randy and Melissa. Thank you. Vicki Elliott, Victoria, Minnesota
To the Editor: I was a close friend of Randy Miller. I am working on a little memorial for him during the classic car shows in Victoria. The reason I am contacting you is to see if you would be willing to give me pictures that you have of him during the car shows, Volksfest, and other festivals in Victoria. Zach Peglow, Victoria, Minnesota
To the Editor: Good afternoon, Sue. I'd like to first thank you for the wonderful pieces in your June Gazette about Randy Miller. While I've only been here two short years, I had numerous encounters with Randy and enjoyed every one. It's been a privilege to read accounts from those who knew him well, and it was an honor to have known him even so briefly. Secondly, I've just finished reading the Gazette and had to laugh when I found the fishhook in the picture on page 38, so appropriately located in the fish's mouth. Another job well done. Thanks so much for all you do. I look forward each month to learning something new about this wonderful community and its people. Dori Miller, Victoria, Minnesota
To the Editor: I am never disappointed in your paper. I noticed in your granddaughter Sophie's ant drawing in the June issue, that all the ants had smiling faces. This indicates to me she is one happy child and talented. I sent Barb, our longtime Postmaster, a card today. We will miss her at the Post Office. I gave her a coffee gift card and a small Christmas tree one year to show my appreciation for how helpful she has been. Your comments on the War on Terror is right on the mark. "It is the ugliest of all because it is waged by losers who intentionally target the innocent." Your paper has a cheap subscription price for how well it keeps Victoria residents up to date. Maybe our mayor will see the light after the recent resignations. Mal Macalpine, Victoria, Minnesota
To the Editor: Your article about Randy Miller in the June issue of the Gazette was outstanding. So were the stamps and envelopes you dropped off for my stamp collectors. Thank you. Ron Holtmeier, Victoria, Minnesota
To the Editor: Love getting the Gazette. Amazing how the city has changed. Know very few of the people anymore. Thanks. Ginny Harris, St. Paul, Minnesota
To the Editor: Good afternoon, Sue. I am contacting you on behalf of Paul and Natalie Botes, owners and master instructors of American Classic Ballroom, now in Chanhassen. At the end of July, they will be moving their facilities to 1495 Stieger Lake Lane in Victoria, next to Enki Brewing. Paul and Natalie are planning to open August 1st in their new location and will have a Grand Opening in September. Is there a chance you could write an article about them, welcoming them and their students to Victoria? Their Ballroom is a great place for people of all ages to get exercise by taking fun ballroom dance classes, as well as watch and/or participate in ballroom showcases. The studio opens at 3 p.m. each day. I am a proud member of the American Classic Ballroom Formation team, which competes with other studios. American Classic has a family atmosphere which makes it so comforting and pleasurable. Their website is acballroom.com. Barb Hoffman, American Classic Ballroom Team Minneapolis, Minnesota
