Allan tells people that he gave up his Canadian fishing trip this spring because he didn't think I should stay home alone for a whole week, since I'm not quite 100% from the accident.  I don't feel totally bad about his sacrifice because I happen to know there's another reason he stayed home:  the Lions Pavilion.  It, too, is not quite 100% yet, and the project manager wants to be present to the end.

When I dipped into the minnow bucket this month, I pulled out Lorraine Braunworth of Hamburg to win the $10 drawing.  She found the fishhook on page 9 wrapped around the water faucet in the Victoria Flats ad.  It's coincidental that Lorraine's former home in Victoria was located on property now occupied by Victoria Flats!

There's another fishhook hidden in this issue of the Gazette.  If you find it and want to be part of next months drawing, email Sue@VictoriaGazette.com or drop a line to Box 387 telling of its location and sinker in the mail.
