West Express Swim Team held their Spring/Summer registration at the Chaska Middle school in April. Swimmers must be able to swim one length of the pool unassisted. West Express, which supports the cities of Chaska, Chanhassen, Victoria, and Waconia, had a record-breaking season this fall that began with a 100% increase in the number of athletes swimming with the team. We went from a great group of 55 to an outstanding group of over 100. The kids from Victoria are Kiley Eichelberger, Katie Frye, Alex Gittsovich, Luba Gittsovich, Maggie Green, Matthew Helmerichs, Max Sinner, Chloe Zeller, and Emma Zeller. Many of the kids joining the team are new to competitive swimming and have goals and aspirations to join the elite athletes that participate in the Summer Olympics. We look forward to encouraging and supporting all our swimmers to reach their highest potential in the sport, have fun, and learn important life lessons along the way. Boogie Blast. We would like to thank everyone who helped make St. Joseph Catholic School’s Boogie Blast such a remarkable success.
