It was lovely to chat with you at the Wartman wedding. Such a fine tribe those Wartmans are. So genuine and authentic, they are the real deal. Their mama and daddy raised them right. Thank you for bringing good news to Victoria. I appreciate the hometown family vibe that the Gazette brings each month. Keep it coming, baby.

I enjoy looking at your paper and the articles are very interesting and wonderful reading. I would like to propose to you another idea for your publication.

As a master gardener, I do some writing and thought you might like a fun column that combines cooking and gardening year round. I think your readers might like this type of information and also the uses for some of the garden produce they are not familiar with at their local farmer's market.

I thought for starters, "Let's Explore Herbs" and some basic culinary ones to have on their doorstep or garden and how to care for them and a couple recipes that feature that herb.

If you are interested in this for the Gazette, contact me to get it started. In the meantime, check out my blog. I feature lots of recipes there from my garden produce too: cjinspirations.wordpress.com.

I had relatives that did live in the Victoria area which is how I found out about the Gazette, but they recently downsized and moved. I did write for the Arboretum for two years. I know Floyd's well and shop at the great market down the street and frequent restaurants in the area.

I am an Arboretum member and take lots of classes there. I recommend Victoria for food and shopping and, of course, the Volksfest and Art Fair.

Frequent Visitor to Victoria

Over the last six months, you may have been introduced to the nationally awarded program, WeCAB, which had its beginnings in Mound just three short years ago. WeCAB was founded in response to a decline in transportation opportunities for those unable, for a variety of reasons, to access other means of transportation in the greater Mound area.

WeCAB's mission statement is to provide safe, affordable, flexible, and supplemental transportation services. The purpose of WeCAB is to effectively meet the gap in transportation services.

After significant research and many conversations, WeCAB is seeking to expand into Carver County and, in a limited way, portions of Scott County. We are inviting you to be part of this incredible program and ask that you attend a Founders of WeCAB Carver County meeting to be held June 24th.

We will explain the next steps in WeCAB's expansion process and how you, a Carver County leader, can be involved in making this incredible program happen in Carver County. One of WeCAB's greatest supporters from the very beginning has been Ridgeview Medical Center.
