To the Editor: Hi, Sue. Enjoyed your article about Mollie B. at Stiftungsfest. Always watch her TV programs. In your picture of the audience, recognized folks that have a cabin next to me. Thanks for an interesting paper. Esther Sauter Bigfork, Minnesota
To the Editor: Thank you to all the volunteers and local business members who made the community Halloween party a success. Year over year, this event continues to grow and attract more people from the Victoria area. Here are a couple of future Lion-supported community events to mark on your calendars: Sunday, December 1st, is the Victoria Lions Pancake, French Toast, and Sausage Breakfast. Wednesday, February 5th, is Victoria's American Red Cross Blood Drive. The Lions are looking for volunteers to help coordinate the February Blood Drive. If you are interested and want to learn more details, please contact me at 763-354-9310. Brian Tjenstrom, President Victoria Lions Club
To the Editor: Attached is a write-up and photos of our annual Bocce Tournament. Would love to see it make it into the next Gazette. Keep up the great work. Love the paper. Tommy Hutton Victoria, Minnesota
To the Editor: We won! I am excited to tell you that I won the Republican State Central Committee straw poll on Saturday, October 26th. Minnesota Republicans are behind me and we are positioned to defeat Al Franken! The campaign is off to a great start but I need to start closing the fundraising gap between my campaign and his. You see, Al Franken has been funded by Hollywood Executives, Big Labor Unions, and College Elites who helped him steal the last election. I am proud to report that good hardworking people have voted with their hard-earned dollars and are supporting me financially. We need folks from all over the country to stand by me when Al Franken and his friends begin the campaign attacks on our message, and on me, my family, and my friends. Thank you for your support for our efforts and for me and my family. State Senator Julianne Ortman Chanhassen, Minnesota
To the Editor: My name is Mary Valentine from the Chanhassen Athletic Association. I am currently seeking team sponsors for the 2014 baseball and softball season as well as corporate sponsors for all of CAA sports (baseball, softball, basketball, soccer, and volleyball). I am contacting you today with the hope that you will help provide financial support to CAA sports programs for the children of Victoria. Our goal is to have a team sponsor for each baseball and softball team and also commit several local businesses to donate and become partners in the CAA corporate sponsorship program to support and promote all of CAA sports programs. The continued success of our CAA youth sports programs depends on the financial support of our local business community. Attached is a CAA sponsorship letter and two documents that detail each of the CAA sponsorship programs. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. Thank you in advance for your support of CAA sports programs Mary Valentine, Chanhassen Athletic Association Chanhassen, Minnesota
To the Editor: Carver County cordially invites you to the Veterans Program Ceremony at the Carver County Government Center on Monday, November 25th. The Carver County Veterans Program provides veterans who become involved in the criminal justice system, programming that promotes consequences and accountability, as well as provide services tailored to the specific needs of the veterans who may suffer from post-traumatic stress disorder, brain injuries, and/or chemical dependency. Mark Metz, Carver County Attorney Chaska, Minnesota
To the Editor: I have recently acquired a copy of the most recent Gazette and enjoy the information that it contains. I would like to order a subscription to the paper. Can you send me a bill? Joel Schafer, Brunton Architects North Mankato, Minnesota
