Victoria Gazette - Hook Line & Sinker Column

Every year in the month of March, I hear from more people than in other months. That's because when people send in their subscription checks, they often write a few words or let me know that they found the fishhook. And so it is once again just that way. The minnow bucket was overflowing! When I reached into it, I pulled out Glen Gauvin of Mound to win the $10 prize drawing. There are hundreds and hundreds of subscribers who live outside of Victoria. Congratulations, Mr. Gauvin! I'm glad you love the Gazette. I've commented before how the word "love" is often used by readers in regard to this newspaper and hardly ever or never in regard to other newspapers. I do believe that the Gazette is loved because I love doing the Gazette. Love is contagious. Thank you all for overwhelming me with subscription checks. I appreciate it very much.
