Easter Egg Hunt. Saturday, March 31st, in Lions Park at the South Shelter by Poppitz Field. 9:00 a.m. If poor weather, at the Recreation Center.

Easter Sunday. April 1st. The greatest feast day. Celebrates the Resurrection of Jesus Christ. Established as the first Sunday after the full moon following the vernal equinox of the northern hemisphere.

Yard Waste Meeting. Tuesday, April 3rd, at the Carver County Government Center in Chaska, 600 East 4th Street in Chaska. 4:00 p.m.

Memorial Blood Drive. Saturday, April 7th. 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Lake Auburn Moravian Church in Victoria, one mile north of the Dairy Queen on Co. Rd. 11. Contact 952-210-8200.

VFD Blood Drive. Tuesday, April 17th, at the Victoria Fire Station from 1:00 to 6:00 p.m. Appointments are required for the drive.

Holocaust Remembrance Day. Thursday, April 12th. Refers to a number of worldwide commemorations of the Holocaust that took place by the Nazis during World War II. The Holocaust was the systematic, bureaucratic, state-sponsored persecution and murder of millions of Jews and also others like Catholic priests and homosexuals.

Earth Day. Sunday, April 22nd. First celebrated in 1970, celebrations show support for protecting the environment.

City Council. Meetings on the second and fourth Mondays, April 9th and April 23rd, at 6:30 p.m. at City Hall on Stieger Lake Lane.

Full Moon. Sunday, April 29th. The moon is full when the moon is on the opposite side of the earth from the sun. When this occurs, the entire surface of the moon looks to be illuminated. The full moon occurs every 29.53058 days.

St. Victoria Rummage Sale. Thursday and Friday, May 3rd (7 a.m. to 7 p.m.) and May 4th (7 a.m. to 3 p.m.).
